Aims Spotlight Speaker Series

A diverse lineup of thought leaders from throughout northern Colorado

Aims Community ɫTV is launching its inaugural Spotlight Speaker Series for the 2025-26 season. The four-part series features talks from a variety of thought leaders from throughout the northern Colorado region – including Sully Sullenberger, M.A. '80.

Sullenberger is the New York Times best selling author of Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters and is renowned for his role in the "Miracle on the Hudson" when, as captain, he safely guided US Airways Flight 1549 to an emergency water landing. 

The series is geared toward fostering connections and inspire important and stimulating conversations about leadership growth for individuals and organizations in the northern Colorado community and beyond. Each event will take place from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the Miller Auditorium in the Aims Community ɫTV Welcome Center.

The lineup for the 2025-26 season is as follows:

  • Sept. 24, 2025: Dr. Amy Cuddy — Personal Power and Presence: Bringing Your Boldest Self to Challenges (Sept 24, 2025): Learn practical ways to show up with calm confidence in high pressure moments.
  • Oct. 30, 2025: Leif Babin — Extreme Ownership: Build teams that take responsibility, communicate clearly, and win together.
  • Feb. 4, 2026: Dr. Myron Rolle — Inspired Leadership: Learning from the Giants: Explore three strategies to grow as a leader, drawing on lessons from renowned changemakers.
  • March 25, 2026: Ambassador “Sully” Sullenberger — Leading Your Team to Succes: Discover how preparation and example setting guide teams through challenge.
